Man or Woman of the Year
Becoming the Man or Woman of the Year is the most prestigious recognition of volunteer service in the Santa Clarita Valley. In fact, it is a coveted honor just to be nominated.
Contribution in Your Honor
When you become Man or Woman of the Year in the SCV, a donation is made by the Man & Woman of the Year Organization to your nominating nonprofit in your honor.
Community Appreciation
You receive the appreciation of an admiring community and a lovely trophy when you win. You may also be recognized with citations of honor from the City of Santa Clarita and the County of Los Angeles.
A Legacy Built on Giving
Volunteers who are making a difference in our community can be nominated by a nonprofit organization. And when they are, we announce it in press releases and on social media so community members can celebrate your nomination. Winning means you will become part of the official history of the Santa Clarita Valley and featured on SCV History.
Bling for your Automobile
When you become Man or Woman of the Year in the SCV you receive customized engraved license plate frames that let everyone know how much you care about the community.
