Our Governance Team

The Man & Woman of the Year is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, governed by a committee made up of all past honorees who automatically join the committee upon being named Man of Woman of the Year. The committee of all past honorees meets a number of times throughout the year to plan for the upcoming process and event. They are led by a set of bylaws, elected officers and a Board of Directors who make the executive decisions on behalf of the entire organization. An Annual General Meeting takes place each year in the spring when officers and directors are selected by the membership. All members have an equal vote for the selected honorees. Donations made to the organization and/or awards dinner are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.
